Abstract


For the first time, Murdannia crocea subsp. ochracea (Dalzell) Faden (Commelinaceae) is reported from Madhya Pradesh, India, based on material collected from Baihar village of Balaghat DistrictMadhya Pradesh. Along with the addition to the flora of Madhya Pradesh, this record extends the known geographical distribution of the taxon to Central India. Additionally, a brief morphological description, habitat notes, and photographs are provided in here.
