Abstract


Chamaegastrodia vaginata (Hook.f.) Seidenf. is a poorly known mycoheterotrophic orchid, which was recollected after a gap of 175 years from Meghalaya, India. A detailed description, photoplate and relevant information are provided for its easy identification.
