Incidence of Chilli Mosaic in Commercially Cultivated Chilli Areas of Kashmir Valley

Abstract


A survey was conducted in district Srinagar and Pulwama of Kashmir valley to assess the incidence of chilli mosaic disease. The disease was found prevalent in both the districts with the incidence of 8.150 and 3.016 per cent, respectively. The average incidence of the disease was found to be 5.72 per cent. In incidental case the disease incidence was recorded as high as 43.50 per cent.
