Dr. Gianmarco Tavilla is a renowned botanist specializing in the vascular flora of the Mediterranean region, with expertise spanning vegetation ecology, plant taxonomy, botanical nomenclature, conservation biology, invasive alien species, and GIS-based vegetation mapping. He holds a Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Sciences with the distinguished Doctor Europaeus qualification from the University of Catania, Italy.
