Prof. S. D. Srinivasa Murthy has been working in Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, for last 30 years in the Department of Biochemistry. He produced 28 Ph. Ds and published 140 papers in reputed journals of national and international repute. Dr Murthy has attended more than 50 Symposia. He conducted 15 research projects funded by various funding agencies. He is the Fellow of A. P. Academy of Sciences and received A. P. State Best teacher award in 2019. At present he is the Dean of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. His area of research is Plant Biochemistry.
Prof Murthy had been associated with the SOCIETY FOR PLANT RESEARCH and VEGETOS since 1994 and had been the Councilor and Executive Member in the past years.
